Video a week!

So, I was thinking, and it has been put into my heart. It's weird for me to be thinking this way, but I look at it as beneficial. I am 98% down to start doing a video blog. *cringe*, *gasp*, *shudder!* Basically it will be a monome performance blog. I have been practicing the last couple of months and am planning on doing live shows. But, I feel I need constructive feedback. Hopefully I can get some. I understand everyone is caught up in their own world, as I am as well. But, I trust since this has been put on my heart that I will get feedback just like I like to give feedback. It will also help me to get the gears rolling, and to be making a more concerted effort. I already have a song almost done that I have been practicing. So yay!

This weekend. Relaxed, worked on beats. Worked with Ariane, and we started a really good song that she sounds wonderful on. The melody is based off a chopped up octave lowered human chant. With a beat from the nintendo DS-10. Speaking of the DS-10!!!

I am so glad a game company and a instrument company formed and collaborated on a truly great 'game'. To be honest this thing aint no joke! You can really get some awesome sounds and make some ill beats. Just got to understand routing of signal to maximize the sound engine. Anyways, I like making beats on the lunch and 10 minute breaks. They instituted a way to make beats by tapping squares with the stylus....oh yea, I liiike!!
