Been awhile, but a lot of progress yay!

First things first. In the matter of a few days I have about 3 songs complete. Doing this new way of making music at first was going super-slow. But, with a blaze of glory I sat down, inspired and finished up another two. The way things are going another two a weekend and one in the week. Its like a snowball effect. :) Also, the great thing is that I am doing these mostly live. So, when I get a laptop I can start doing live shows :) Yea, so the music is really coming along, feeling very blessed. Still is going slow, but the results are worth it :)

Yesterday I did some recording for a classical/flamenco/fusion guitarist. I went to San Francisco. It was great, he is a fantastic artist. Basically I am handling his recordings and artwork for his album. I also took pictures of him and will be setting up his myspace and website. He is an interesting fellow and his lady in his life is a very nice person and has been acting as manager for him. He is older but very determined, and his skill is amazing! The only thing I am not keen on is the pot smoking that incurs. But I don't participate, so it is all to the good. They want to collaborate with me as well, but baby steps :)

Christmas approaching. I dunno anymore. Holidays seem like a farce to me.

Easter- Celebrating Jesus's ressurection...with a bunny rabbit and eggs.
Christmas- Celebrating Christ's birth....with Santa and mass consumerism.
Thanksgiving- One time a year to get the family together
List goes on. I guess I need to look past it all, but I just don't feel connected with holidays. I want to celebrate Christ everyday.
